I met Julie in 1965, on my first day at Mount Scopus. I didn’t want to go to this huge, new school and I was angry. But Julie’s smiling face was the first thing that greeted me when I climbed onto the bus, and my bad mood lifted.
Julie’s world is music and she shares her passion with little kids as well as big kids like my mum.
Mum is always excited to see her when she pops in, as she has known Julie and her beautiful parents, Barbara and Oscar, since those early days nearly sixty years ago.
It was my grandson's birthday. As he lives overseas, Julie and I, together with mum, prepared a birthday video 'Driving in Your Car'.
